News

You can read the latest news about Alaskan fly fishing across dozens of digital channels, but you always get the greatest news here first. When the largest sockeye runs in the world happen on the Kvichak river, they happen right outside our back door. When trophy rainbows set new records at Iliamna Lake, we tell you all about it.

We’re not above a little bragging. When the My Alaskan Fishing Trip site gave us a nod back in November of 2015, we just had to post about it here in the News section of our No See Um blogs. MAFT reported that we’re “a world-renowned fly fishing destination,” and they put us on their list of Top 10 Luxury Alaskan Lodges. We took both tips of the hat as compliments.

We’ve got our thumbs on the pulse of everything that happens here in our slice of the most beautiful wilderness on earth, and we’re always casting our lines for fly fishing news. It’s a big job, and we love writing every word of it. When you want a detailed review of the last season or an exciting preview of fly fishing adventures just around the river’s next bend, check in with No See Um first.
