This year, before returning to the No See Um Lodge for my 13th straight year, a friend asked me why I would travel so far just to go to the same place over and over again. Regardless of your level of experience as a fly fisher these guys bring it everyday to make sure all of the guests enjoy their time in the Alaskan wild. There is only one thing more important to John and his team than great service and outstanding fishing…. Safety. This starts with the meticulously maintained fleet of De Havilland Beaver aircraft and an attitude that nothing is worth risking the safety of a No See Um guest. This is an important box to check when choosing an Alaskan fishing lodge. I can honestly say that after 13 years of fishing with the No See Um I have never witness a compromise of this high standard of safety. Lastly, Yes….
